Description
Our Ohana Package is designed for large groups of 13 to 20. We'll spend 90 minutes capturing everyone — from the grandparents to the littlest ones — across multiple setups so nobody gets left out of the frame.
If you're bringing 13 to 20 people to Maui, this is the session that does your group justice. At 90 minutes, you have plenty of time to capture the full group, every family unit within it, the grandparents, the cousins, the kids on their own — all the combinations that make a big family trip worth remembering.
Frank and Lisa have extensive experience photographing large extended families and groups on Maui's beaches. They know how to move a big group efficiently, keep the energy fun (not chaotic), and still find the quiet, genuine moments that make a photo gallery truly special.
You'll receive 100–130 professionally edited images and a 4K downloadable slideshow — more than enough to share with every branch of the family tree.

Photoshoot Package
The Ohana Package includes a 60-minute session, 100-130 high-res edited downloadable images and a 4k downloadable slideshow.
Once booked, you'll receive a confirmation email.
Three days prior to session, you will receive a reminder email.
The day before you'll receive a text from Frank or Lisa introducing themselves as your photographer for your upcoming session. They will include the confirmed start time and a Google Maps Link with driving directions to the beach location.

With 90 minutes and up to 20 people, the Ohana Package is designed to be thorough without feeling like a marathon. Frank and Lisa keep things moving with a calm, organised approach that manages even the most energetic kids and the most reluctant adults.
The result? A gallery of 100–130 images that captures the full group and every important combination within it — photos you'll be sharing across the family WhatsApp group for years to come.

Location
Maui offers some of the best scenery around. If you’re looking for beaches or beautiful jungle areas, Maui has them! Kapalua Bay and Baby Beach Lahaina are some of my favorite spots. Think of places that speak to your personalities best, and are accessible to everyone involved.

Timing
Evening light is the golden hour when photos of people are at their best. I try to schedule all sessions either early in the morning or an hour before sunset (taking into account your kids’ nap and meal times).

To avoid last-minute stress, make sure to pick out all family outfits and props well in advance. If your outfits are new, make sure your kids have a chance to wear them a couple of times before the day so they’ll be comfortable during the shoot.

Don’t Match, Coordinate
Pick a color combination for your family to work within. We don’t want everyone to match perfectly, but we also don’t want everyone wearing different colors and patterns that clash.

While the idea of outfits for the season may be appealing, our aim is to produce photos that you can use / display in your home year-round. Unless you live in the North Pole, Christmas only works once a year.
Avoid Clashing Patterns
Go for earth tones, textures, and solid colors. These are the most classic and timeless and will guarantee your outfits are still in style a year from now (rather than a trend). Consider layering clothing for more visual interest and movement.
Fitted = Best
While flowy articles of clothing can be fun and create movement, in general, opt for fitted clothing over baggy jeans and loose fitting shirts.
Comfort Over Everything!
We want your session to be fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. If your kids’ clothing is uncomfortable for them to wear, it won’t be nearly as fun, and their discomfort may show in the photos. If you’re planning on wearing new outfits, I’d suggest ‘breaking them in’ a few days in advance to get used to the feeling of wearing those clothes.
